Two events for The Sublime Tribute show 2015

The Sublime Tribute show 2015 is to feature two events, featuring artists from 7th Son, Cpt Stu, Half Price, Peachy Keen, Grassy Spark and many more, including special guest Francois van Coke from Fokofpolisiekar, who will join this year for the Mercury show.

The first night will be on 13 February at Mercury Live and will no doubt be the usual energetic, party-on-steriods vibe that it has always been. The second will be something brand new: an all-ages afternoon show on 21 February at the Cape Farmhouse in Scarborough. In addition to regular Sublime diehards, this mini-festival event is designed to cater for the older fan who would like to introduce the family to the Sublime experience.

Tickets can be bought through Webtickets at R80 per show or R150 for both events. Limited tickets will be available at both shows, at the door, for R100 per show.

Ticketholders will stand a chance of winning a custom-designed Sublime surfboard, shaped and painted with Sublime artwork by the team at The Board Box (See details on the Facebook event page).

    Competition

There will also be an online competition in which two Sublime fans will stand the chance to win Sublime skate decks, hand-painted by local artists and Sublime fans, Dominique Otto (Peachy Keen) and Jon James Case (The Jack Mantis Band).

Monster Energy has also climbed on board the ska train and will be offering crazy drink specials at both events, among other goodies.
