Retrofest gears up for acoustic sounds of the 60s and 70s

Retrofest#1 will host a selection of South Africa's best contemporary acoustic musicians performing songs from the 1960s and 70s on the 15 March. Local talent on the bill includes: Josie Field and Laurie Levine, Idols winner David van Vuuren, Andra, Shotgun Tori, Some Grow Young, Donovan Borne, and The Black Cat Bones.

Nirox Sculpture Park is nestled in the Cradle Of Humankind, with its luscious amphitheatre set to be the stage for Retrofest#1. The natural surroundings and manicured landscape are the perfect environment to experience some of the greatest songs ever written, performed live by a selection of South Africa's leading acoustic musicians.

The Epicurian Emporium - a collective of high-end food stalls from the burgeoning food-and-design market, with emphasis on healthy, naturally sourced foods - will offer diverse culinary options for alfresco lunch in the park.
