Improvised dance performance at the UCT School of Ballet

The improvised dance performance is a once in a life time opportunity to watch an instantly improvised performance by two world renowned pioneers and master performers.
Improvised dance performance at the UCT School of Ballet

The South African Improvisation Meeting has brought together Kirstie Simson (Chicago), one of the co-founders of Contact Improvisation, and Bo Madvig (Denmark), famous choreographer and improviser. The performance will be created instantaneously to live improvised music by Brendon Bussy and Niklas Zimmer. This is a rare opportunity for Capetonians to see this type of avant-garde dance.

This performance will be part of the SAIM (South African Improvisation Meeting) a series of masterclasses given by these two performers at Stellenbosch Univ. and UCT School of Dance, between the 22nd of Sept. and the 2nd of Oct.
It is not often that SA dancers have a chance to receive this level of tuition over such a relatively long period.

The performance will be on Friday the 25 September at 7.30pm at the UCT ballet co's rehearsal rooms.
    A R30 donation is requested .
