The Elvis Show at the Roxy Revue Bar

I attended the Elvis show at the Roxy Revue Bar last night with 4 friends-all Elvis fans-from the Elvis era. One of them in particular, is an Elvis fanatic and always very skeptical about any impersonations. He went from rating the show 6 out of 10 at half-time to 9 out of 10 at the end and acknowledged that this was better than the Elvis impersonation he had seen in Las Vegas.
The Elvis Show at the Roxy Revue Bar

It was a most enjoyable, lively show, with extremely talented musicians, singers and dancers. James Marais did a perfect impersonation of the “King of Rock and Roll” and his voice, movements and costumes were brilliant. His even sang from the back of his throat, like Elvis. Dennis Baker was an excellent MC, the band was amazing, the guitars, keyboard, drums, trumpet and saxophone were fantastic.

Craig Kallis and Candice du Plessis were talented, lovely and a nice variation. The dancers were amazing and had so much passion and energy, they must be the fittest people in Cape Town.

I would highly recommend anyone to see this show, it is very enjoyable! We left, feeling elated.
