NEWSWATCH: On Friday the Libyan government confirmed that it was holding South African photojournalist Anton Hammerl, but despite hopes for his early release, it appears he is still being held, reports IOL, while thousands have signed a petition for Hammerl's release, reports Mail & Guardian.
