Union Tiles to launch in Cape Town

Johannesburg-based Union Tiles has purchased a prime 3000sqm commercial property in Paarden Eiland's main road in Cape Town to launch its Cape Town store. Local JHI broker Seamus Daly in conjunction with Greenlight Auctions concluded the sale of the property for an undisclosed sum.

"Now that the property has been purchased by Union Tiles in order to open its eleventh national store, JHI is marketing the remaining available space of 1800 sqm of retail and warehousing accommodation at R55 per sqm," says Daly.

The property enjoys major exposure to passing traffic, with loading access from Industry Street at the rear. In addition to the N1, it has easy access to the M5, N2 and the city's Integrated Rapid Transit (IRT) System, and is within easy reach of Cape Town harbour and central city.

Union Tiles has a head office and factory in Bedfordview and outlets in Randburg, Centurion, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein, George, Ballito, Burgersfort, Pietermaritzburg and Windhoek.
