Call for exhibitors for positive ageing expo
The event covers the issue of healthy ageing and comes just before the first World Congress on Healthy Ageing, sponsored by the World Health Organisation from 19 to 22 March, 2012, in Malaysia.
The expo will offer a range of edutalks delivered by renowned speakers and a full expo component, complemented by practical demonstrations, lessons and sessions.
Targeting the country's baby boomers, the expo provides exhibitors with access to this highly influential market. South Africans aged 40+ are recession resistant, fall between LSM 7 and 10, and - despite making up only 6 percent of the population - wield 20 percent of market spend.
Leading professionals to speak
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to reach this market while sharing a platform with the more than 30 leading professionals who will speak at the event, including prominent British author and nutritionist, Patrick Holford.
The speaker line-up includes at least 12 doctors of medicine, psychology and natural medicine who will discuss everything from laser eye, face and body surgery to treating hair loss, hormonal imbalances, sleep disorders, dental problems and other side effects of ageing.
It's against this professional backdrop that the expo will take place, with exhibitors covering a range of health and wellbeing areas, such as aesthetic beauty, vision, hearing, nutritional supplementation, beauty, hair, hobbies, energy healing, sports and exercise.
Held at an eco-lodge
Visitors are able to explore the latest thinking on positive ageing. It's being held at an eco-country lodge to allow delegates time to enjoy an invigorating and highly informative weekend away, complete with access to relaxing spa treatments and different therapy sessions, as well as the talks and expo.
There's a choice of three stand sizes, starting from R9600 per stand, all inclusive.
