The Grande Roche's complimentary wine tastings will be hosted by Bosman's sommelier Josephine Gutentoft and will feature the best winemakers and estates in the country, and present guests with a wonderful opportunity to meet top winemakers, buy wines at cellar prices and increase their knowledge whilst sampling some of South Africa's finest wines.
For the Grande Roche Gourmet Wine Evenings, executive chef Roland Gorgosilich, will be preparing a special five-course set menu paired with carefully selected South African wines presented by the winemakers themselves. There are monthly Gourmet and Wine Evenings in September and October.
The festival will also include the Nederburg Auction Dinner on 28 August in which Nederburg cellar master Razvan Macici will present a selection of wines that will feature in the monumental auction and provide guests with a first-time opportunity to taste the rare wines prior to the exclusive event.
Initiated in 1975, the Nederburg Auction claims to be one of the world's five major wine auctions and commences on 3 September.
