SA restaurants La Colombe and Fyn make World's 50 Best Restaurants 51-100 list

Cape Town restaurants, La Colombe and Fyn have been awarded No 81 and No 92 respectively, on the 2021 World's 50 Best Restaurants 51-100 list.

Cape Town's La Colombe added to World's 50 Best Restaurant Extended List

Being awarded by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants™ is a huge achievement, not just for the restaurant which is placed, but for the broader industry as well. A panel of more than 1000 experts work through an audited assessment and voting process to produce an updated list each year. Since 2002 the awards have been a barometer for the world’s fine dining scene.

This year, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, will be hosted in Antwerp in Belgium on Tuesday, 5 October. An extensive programme hosted in Flanders will culminate in the awards ceremony in Antwerp, and will mark a key moment in the ongoing revival of the global restaurant sector. In the lead-up to the event, today’s unveiling of the 51-100 list showcases highly commended restaurants from all over the world as the hospitality sector continues its resurgence from the impact of the pandemic.
