The event is divided into two sittings, afternoon and evening, in which you can pig out to your heart's content, on all dishes presented including two 500ml Boston Lager Draught beers, for the price of R250 a ticket.
On the main menu are the following bacon-inspired dishes carefully prepared by the chefs at the new 11 Kitchen venue, situated in Woodstock: chicken twizzlers wrapped in bacon, beef twizzlers wrapped in bacon, baby potatoes wrapped in bacon on a skewer, mealies wrapped in bacon on a stick, candy bacon on a stick, bacon chilli poppers, mini bacon and peppadew pizzas, pigs in a bacon blanket, chicken drumsticks wrapped in bacon, crackling and bacon popcorn.
There is a full bar available, as well as the entire beer range on tap from Boston Breweries.
All you need to do to enter is to purchase a ticket from Webtickets, and 'like' the Boston Breweries Facebook page. The winner's name will be drawn from a hat after the Baconfest, and if you are that lucky person a case will be delivered to your door the following week.
Limited tickets available from Webtickets, 150 tickets for the afternoon session (12pm to 5pm) and 150 tickets for the evening session (5pm to 10pm).
