Sprung to feature acts from the UK and Israel

On 7 and 8 September, 2013, Alien Safari will be starting off the season with Sprung. The event is for over-18s this year and you can expect to see UK import acts, such as: Antispin, Hedflux, Sinerider as well as Pixel straight from Isreal. There will also be local acts, including: Cantra, Gandalf Grey, Hektek Elektrik, Highstyle, Humours, Jester, Kineticz, Plus Minus and many more.

The venue boasts two dams in a breathtaking setting only 65km from Cape Town. Pack tents, blankets and jerseys, as it's likely to be cold. For those who want to experience Sprung but aren't big on camping, there are separate cottages on the neighbouring farm that you can rent out.

Tickets are R260 from outlets and on www.quicket.co.za and will be R290 at the gate (this includes both parking and camping). All outlets are listed on the Sprung Facebook page and can be found in: Big Bay, Cape Town, Canal Walk, Somerset West, Cavendish, Table View, Sea Point, Stellies and Kalk Bay.

Do your bit! If you have any unwanted items at home, bring them along and put them in the donation boxes at the entrance. Also car pool where you can; love the Earth and it will love you back. We want to leave memories and the lingering sound of stomping feet - nothing more. So please throw away cigarette butts, rubbish and try to use biodegradable toiletries.

    House rules

No glasses, no under-18s, no fires, fireworks, domestic animals, independent sound systems, illegal substances, graffiti or weapons.

All information can be found at www.AlienSafari.net or call +27 (0)82 741 8981. Email ten.irafaSneilA@ofni or go to the Facebook page.
