The B(itching) Hour at The Theatre Arts Admin Collective

This month, the chit chat, bantering, shouting, whispering, laughing and nattering of a powerhouse of women can be seen at The Theatre Arts Admin Collective.
The B(itching) Hour at The Theatre Arts Admin Collective

Presented by The Poor Artists Collective, devised by University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch alumni and directed by Jacqui Singer and Gabriella Pinto, The B(itching) Hour stars sassy playwrights, actresses, writers and theatre-makers: Iman Isaacs, Amy Jephta, Lesoko Seabe, Kelly-Eve Koopman, Danieyella Rodin , Mikkie-dean le Roux , Loren Loubser and Trudy van Rooy.

With a chorus of eight women, this work shares everyday instances, disturbing curiosities and too-often-censored concerns of being young women in the rainbow nation.

The (B)itching Hour runs from 23 to 31 August, 2013, at 8.30pm at the Theatre Arts Admin Collective, on the corner of Milton and Wesley Street, Observatory. Tickets cost R40 and bookings can be made at moc.liamg@stsitraroopeht or +27 (0)72 214 8859 or www.tixsa.co.za.
