#5GumExperience presents The Kooks

The latest #5GumExperience is to be The Kooks, who will be performing on 19 April in Joburg and 20 April in Cape Town.

The Kooks are an English rock band formed in Brighton, East Sussex, in 2004. Signed to Virgin Records in 2006, the band released their debut quadruple-Platinum-selling album "Inside In/Inside Out" followed in 2008 by their second album "Konk", which debuted at number one in the UK. The Kooks released a third album, "Junk Of The Heart" on 12 September.

The Kooks gained mainstream media attention with the band winning the award for Best UK & Ireland Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2006 and picking up a nomination at The Brit Awards for the single She Moves In Her Own Way.
