    An inspiring "Inscape"

"Inscape" is a very apt title for Isochronous' second full-length album. It really does suck you in, with a gulping breath and submerge you into their pretty world. An escape inwards to that Isochronous landscape habituated by rumbling drum mountains, towering guitar trees, rushing and tinkling piano rivers and the beautifully pure chirpings of nightingales.
    An inspiring "Inscape"

Talented musicians Richard Brokensha, Marko Benini, Franco Schoeman and Alex Parker intricately weave these elements to create a full and layered harmonious landscape that soothes your soul and expands your mind.

    Valley low, mountain high

I love this album for the most part, but sometimes the pre-pubescent prettiness of Richard's voice becomes a little too saccharine. Luckily, this only really bugs me on the second track, White City. It's just so so cute, I skip it every time.

That said, all the other tracks are top quality. Saving the best for last, the concluding track, Gravity, is by far my favourite; incredibly heart swelling, it makes me breathe a little deeper every time I hear it, sucking in that chorus.

Immerse yourself in "Inscape", it's truly inspiringly beautiful.
