US rock band The Used was formed in 2001. The four-man band consists of guitarist Quinn Allman, bass guitarist Jeph Howard, lead vocalist Bert McCraken and drummer Dan Whitesides. They released their eponymous debut album in 2002 and their second album "Maybe Memories" reached platinum status.

New album coming

On their European tour, The Used have played numerous festivals such as the Taste of Chaos tour in Vancouver, Reading Festival and headlined at the Give It A Name Festival. In 2007, the band received a nomination for Best International group video, for the single Bird and the Worm off their third offering, "Lies For The Liars", which charted in the top five in more than seven countries.

The Used's music style has been labelled as alternative rock, pop punk rock, post-hardcore and funk rock. Fans can look forward to a new album, which will be released later this year.
