Services marketing expert to visit SA
One of the world’s leading authorities on service businesses, Dr Christopher Lovelock, is to visit South Africa in October this year. During his visit, he will present a seminar for the Institute of Marketing Management on "Developing service marketing strategies in a fluctuating environment."
Dr Lovelock of Yale University has a MBA from Harvard and a PhD from Stanford. His career has included many years at Harvard Business School and visiting professorships at IMD in Switzerland, INSEAD in France and the University of Queensland in Australia.
His research and teaching aims to assist managers understand the factors that make for success in service-driven organisations.
Dr Lovelock has worked in advertising in London and corporate planning in Canada and continues to advise companies in many industries. He is a prolific and award-winning author of numerous articles and more than two dozen books, including Services Marketing.
The seminar will be held on 1 October 2002, from 07h30 to 10h30, at a venue to be advised.
