The Marketing Circle set for great networking in the Cape

This circle is intended to introduce individuals and companies to one another, to share interests, business opportunities, trends and accomplishments.

The inaugural event took place on the 6th of April at Oblivion Cafe in Harfield Village, Cape Town. Each company took centre stage for one minute to introduce themselves to a diverse group of over 30 marketing consultants, advertising executives, designers, copywriters and journalists.

"Great idea, perfect event coordination and something highly beneficial for the marketing fraternity. I met approximately 6 valuable new contacts including a consultancy whom we have already contracted to do our PR and marketing", said Craig McLeod of Build2Trade.

The Marketing Circle will take place on the first Wednesday of each month at Oblivion Cafe, Harfield Village in Claremont from 5pm onwards. The next event is scheduled to take place on the 5th of May where further company introductions and structured networking will be the order of the day.

The event is free, drinks are not, but come and join what promises to be another highly interactive event for the greatest marketers in town!

1. From N1, take Liesbeeck Parkway turn-off and drive for about 5km in direction Cavendish
   
2. Go over bridge and pass Deloittes on your left (now in Landsdowne Road)
   
3. Go over next robot (cross 2nd Avenue) and turn right where road splits after school into Chichester Road
