Equestrian lifestyle magazine goes monthly
Due to greater reader demand the magazine HQ (Horse Quarterly) will be published monthly from November 2012.

HQ editor Johann Theron says, "The magazine set international standards and has upheld a strong editorial integrity, always placing the welfare of horses first. It continuously investigates and features new proven training methods and revolutionary ideas when it comes to horsemanship and helps to change the mind-set, as new ideas are developed. It has played an important role in introducing ways in which the average horse owner approaches training and care."
The issues will contain a supplement for young riding enthusiasts and will launch a global app shortly.
It has an ABC-audited circulation of 9464 copies sold per issue. According to the latest AMPS figures, readership is at 79 000 per issue. Its readers have a relationship with the magazine - back issues of are collected and fetch a premium when sold as back copies, with some readers trading them to complete their collections.
