Editor Brendan Cooper admits that some of his more conservative colleagues urged him not to put her on the cover. "Others knew it was genius and contemporary and shows how the magazine is evolving and staying in touch with its readers. We just think that Yo-Landi is hot, cool, talented, intelligent, successful - and yes, slightly scary - and we're proud to see her and Ninja taking over the world."
Cooper says that it all started with the group's music video of Baby's on Fire, where Vi$$er's pre-dinner prayer of thanks for her upcoming FHM cover sparked delicious rumours that the mulleted talent may indeed be gracing the cover of the magazine. "Our phones didn't stop ringing with people asking if it was true. So we were delighted when all worked out and we could indeed publish this issue."
