Cooking up a storm
Capitalising on the growing interest in cooking in South Africa, Fairlady magazine will release its first quarterly issue of 'How to Cook' in time for winter, with a Soups and Stews edition on Wednesday, 2 June 2010, at a retail price of R32.95.
The new foodie team, food editor Justine Kiggen and assistant food editor, Peta Suzanne Oshry have compiled this issue. All recipes are illustrated with a step-by-step guide and range from simple to challenging, making the magazine an essential purchase for both beginner and experienced cooks.
This 120-page issue offers 30 spreads for soups, stews, curries and stocks, as well as a Test Section on various essential winter cooking appliances - like pressure cookers, slow cookers and sandwich toasters. One reader can also win R18 000 worth of Le Creuset cookware.
