    Insight Publishing re-launches Simply Green

Having acquired the title, Simply Green from Inspired Spaces Media, Insights Publishing will produce the title bimonthly, with the first new edition launched in mid-November 2015.
    Insight Publishing re-launches Simply Green

Simply Green, which won an SAB eco-journalism award in 2010, just two years after its launch in late 2008, will extend the company's existing stable of magazine publications that includes Fast Company South Africa, The Intrepid Explorer and Who's Who-The Cape Town International Jazz Festival magazine.

Chris Erasmus, founding publisher and editor of Simply Green, said, "We are thrilled at this development. It opens the door to a wide range of cross-platform and cross-title optimisations, both for Simply Green and for Insights Publishing's existing titles, with natural synergies between the respective concerns of each of the titles' target audiences.

"With the publication's established credibility and track record, we are looking to grow the title's reach and influence in collaboration with its new sibling titles.

"Among projects under development are an annual 'best of' edition, which will be a prestige print edition, and an annual edition aimed at the world's most influential business, government and NGO leadership events such as COP and similar eco summits."

Simply Green is a multi-niche publication, serving the needs of a range of parties and stakeholders concerned with greening and sustainability-from consumers, through emergent green businesses to large corporate entities and governmental bodies, both local and international.

The publication's interests are based firmly in issues such as energy provision and technologies, food and water security, effective waste management and recycling, sustainability across all sectors, eco-friendly corporate practices and earth-friendly products for consumers.

After five years in print, Simply Green went full-time digital in early 2013, in a free-to-reader model that proved highly successful.
