Together with its distributor, Networks Unlimited, the Johannesburg leg of the tour focused on how SimpliVity's technology addresses the new, rapidly growing data centre transformation trend. In particular, the tour highlighted the solution's capability to provide a unique Data Virtualisation Platform delivered on hyperconverged infrastructure, which reduces IO per second (IOPS), optimises capacity, and improves operational efficiency.
SimpliVity, which burst onto the scene in 2013, following a 48-month development period, has already been placed in the Visionaries quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Integrated Systems.
