The event is set to take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from 5-7 November 2014.

Brought to South Africa by LoginPT, a business platform created by ANETIE (Associação Nacional de Empresas de Tecnologia da Informação e Electrônica de Portugal, the Expo is aimed at showcasing a technology-centered Portugal to new corporate and business markets. A Public Day has been included in the programme, to expose the array of technological solutions to a wider market.

LoginPT represents over 100 global companies, some of which are renowned for pioneering projects such as the network banking service Multibanco (ATM /POS), Via Verde (an automated highway toll-system), pre-paid mobile phone-cards and cutting-edge GPS software.

Cape Town, has been chosen to be part of the roadshow because it has a burgeoning technology economy, as well as to strengthen commercial ties between Portugal and South Africa.

On day one, the event programme begins with an opening ceremony followed by a second day dedicated to the corporate sector. The final day is open to the public. Entrance for the first two days is 'By Invitation' only, and on the Public Day, entrance is FREE.

Future Pavilion Cape Town will be housed in a inflatable dome tent, in Hall 3 at the CTICC.
