IHS to launch online learning and night school

The International Hotel School (IHS) understands that not everyone has the luxury or the ability to study full-time. With this in mind, they are proud to announce the launch of their new online learning courses and night school for anyone who wants to get into the hospitality industry.
IHS to launch online learning and night school

If being responsible for an amazing event, from the food, to the venues, and seeing it all come together on the day, is your idea of the perfect job or working and living on a luxury cruise liner, travelling the globe from coast to coast, has your name written all over it, then The International Hotel School can make your dream a reality with their nationally and internationally recognised hospitality diplomas and certificates which are now easily accessible with the click of a mouse.

The new online campus, IHS Online, has a number of courses available with flexible learning pathways, a tutor and virtual community of students, for those already working in the hospitality industry and want to advance their skills as well as those who have full-time jobs but have a passion for and want to get into the hospitality industry.

Each of the courses are designed to impact positively on you or your business, staff, guests and ultimately your bottom line. The courses include nationally registered Higher Certificates (NQF Level 5) in Hospitality Management and Food & Beverage Management as well as American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute (AHLEI) single courses, Specialisation Certificates and Diplomas.

All courses are taught, studied and assessed online to make the process more convenient, the only time you ever have to step foot on a campus is to write the final examination, carried by each course module.

IHS also understand the difficulty of balancing work and education and for this reason they have also made available the option Night School, where students are only required to attend classes once or twice a week, programme dependent, for any City & Guilds programme whilst working full-time, which is ideal for those already training or employed in the hospitality or catering industry. This way one can gain the knowledge needed with an internationally recognised qualification to back it up.

Apply via www.hotelschool.co.za or contact your nearest campus in either Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban on 0861 443 300.
