Engel & Völkers launches online version of GG
For more than 25 years, the printed version of GG magazine has reported on exclusive properties and a wide variety of topics related to architecture, design, art, travel, fascinating personalities and fashion. The property and lifestyle magazine of the Engel & Völkers Group is now available online, complete with its own website at www.gg-magazine.com.
"For a quarter of a century, GG has been reflecting our core values of exclusivity, competence and passion. That philosophy is now carried on through the GG website," explained Christian Völkers, CEO of Engel & Völkers AG and publisher of GG.
The magazine's online portal offers readers a familiar blend of editorial content and features. Recurrent elements also include property details for the most attractive real estate in the world from the Engel & Völkers network.
The printed version of GG is published inhouse on a quarterly basis with a total circulation of 150,000 copies in 37 countries. All articles from the printed version will be gradually published on the website in German, English, Spanish, French and Italian. Whenever a new issue appears, the contents of the previous issue will be available online. The website will also feature additional attractive content such as films.
Social media buttons and share functions
Integrated social media buttons and share functions will enable readers to share any articles quickly and easily in their social networks. A version in responsive web design for tablet PCs and i-Phones completes the GG online concept.
"With the combined print and online presence of GG, we can significantly increase the coverage across our relevant target group. Furthermore, for the first time, the international website offers our readers a chance to interact. We want to encourage our users to share GG content in their social networks and to discuss the topics with each other," said Craig Hutchison, CEO of Engel & Völkers southern Africa.
Hutchison added that the GG magazine has always been a unique offering by the group, and clients are able to benefit from exposure of their properties to investors around the globe. No other real estate company can offer this to clients and it again emphasises our true international footprint.
The co-operation partners of GG have been chosen to suit the style-conscious clientele. For example, the publisher has been able to collaborate with watch manufacturer Patek Philippe on a current editorial integration in the online portal.
