Elizabeth Arden, Inc.'s Make a Visible Difference campaign honours, connects and empowers extraordinary South Africans striving to build a better future within their communities.
Elizabeth Arden introduces its Make a Visible Difference campaign

Launching on 14 April 2014, the Elizabeth Arden Make a Visible Difference campaign calls South African residents, who are at least 21 years of age or older and who have made a significant contribution to the betterment of life among South Africans, to share their story on its website. Between 14 April and 31 May 2014 eligible entrants can log in and complete the official entry form, including a 500-word essay detailing how they do more to make a visible difference in their community.

From 1 June 2014, entries will be reviewed using a guided evaluation process by four judges. Four entrants, whose efforts and dedication to their community truly stand out, will be selected as 'community heroes' and will receive a prize package valued at R65,000 each, including a R40,000 cash contribution from Elizabeth Arden to each community hero's designated BEE-certified non-profit charitable organisation.

One community hero grand prize winner will be selected from amongst the community heroes to receive an additional R40,000 cash contribution to further their education.

"We are extremely excited about the Make a Visible Difference campaign. Elizabeth Arden is committed to supporting individuals and communities that seek to improve the lives of others and through this campaign, we are creating a platform to share and acknowledge some of the life-changing initiatives that South Africans are involved in today," remarks Helen McCallum, Marketing Director at Elizabeth Arden Africa.

The four community heroes will be announced to the public on 7 July 2014. The community grand prize winner will be announced at an award ceremony and honorary luncheon hosted by Elizabeth Arden in Johannesburg on 18 July 2014.

Between 14 April and 30 June 2014, R4 of every purchase made of a full-size Visible Difference product will be donated by Elizabeth Arden to the community heroes' causes.
