The line-up of yesteryear's hero wines includes older vintages of Simonsig flagships such as the Bordeaux style Tiara, the Cape blend, Frans Malan Reserve, the award winning Redhill Pinotage and Merindol Syrah. There will be rare vintages of Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and Kaapse Vonkel Méthode Cap Classiques. As an added bonus, these rare wines will be available at special prices for this day only.
Wine enthusiasts keen to learn more and take an in-depth look at these wines should not miss Johan's master classes presented at the Vintage Wine Day. Offered free of charge exclusively to festival goers, these classes will offer interactive vertical wine tastings and will start at 1100 and 1400.
