The expo attracted 31000 visitors during 2011 and is gearing up for even greater things in 2012.
Commented Biz Events managing director Heidi Warricker, "Those who come in search of a particular facet of vital living will also find themselves exposed to a variety of other complementary avenues to achieve all-round wellness. Our visitor surveys indicate that much of the its allure lies in the fun that visitors have in exploring and learning about new products, treatments and activities that they may like to try out."
Warricker explained that visitors are generally not of the "shop and go" variety, but prefer to linger at the show to appreciate its many attractions.
Many remain engaged for hours - browsing through the stalls, shopping for organic foodstuffs, alternative therapies and health products; attending free workshops and obtaining advice on lifestyle choices from experts; watching culinary pros whipping up nutritious dishes; as well as experiencing on-site spa and beauty therapies, 'try-it' dance and yoga classes and much more.
