Cement international fair successful

Along with demonstrations of the Sermac concrete pump and the Ikhaya brick, guests were able to attend presentations by a line-up of speakers, including Omega Consulting Services' Gordon Forester who addressed trends in the concrete industry and director of the Concrete Manufacturers Association, John Cairns who discussed the new SABS paving slab standards for January 2010.

The product fair, organized by Ngage Public Relations, garnered a great deal of excitement and saw 300 local guests, Pan Mixers' customers from across Africa, suppliers, industry specialists and journalists attending the event.

“They did an exceptional job in putting this function together. I am really impressed with the work that they did,” says Pan Mixers' GM Michael Dörner about the organisers. With the success of the product fair, there are already plans to hold another one next year. “The participating suppliers and organizations were so impressed that many of them have requested future involvement,” concludes Dörner.
