Frigair back at Gallagher in June

Frigair 2015, being held at Gallagher Convention Centre from 3-5 June, will be highlighting the crucial role played by the heating, energy, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HEVAC&R) industry and the rapidly developing technology in eco-friendly efficiency.

As an industry that impacts on every aspect of life, the exhibition will focus on addressing solutions in mining, construction, food, packaging, storage, retail, manufacturing, and distribution. Whether it is heating, cooling, air movement or freezing, the science behind these technologies has a direct effect on health, safety, and the environment. As the necessity of energy-efficiency design gains urgency amidst a looming energy crisis, engineers, contractors, property owners and HEVAC&R role-players can experience the latest on the market.

For the first time, internationally Ashrae-approved speakers will present four Ashrae short courses during Frigair 2015. There is also the refrigerant workshop with special focus on the state of the HCFC phase out. The Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) has agreed to come on board to present a progress report on the phase out and the future of refrigerants in South Africa.
