First retail risk and loss prevention show in Cape Town

Retail Knowledge, one of Europe's largest retail fraud and loss prevention conference organisers, publishers and researchers, will organise its first conference and exhibition in South Africa at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town on 12 March 2015.

The conference will be in four interactive sessions led by international and South African loss prevention leaders and will provide a unique opportunity for those within the loss prevention, profit protection, audit, security, fraud and risk functions in South Africa to learn, share and network. The Chatham House Rule will apply*.

First retail risk and loss prevention show in Cape Town

Retail fraud is the hottest topic for many South African retailers today and features high on their agenda because, by tackling fraud effectively, there are immediate, bottom line savings to be made. Fraud, whether physical, electronic, organised or casual from staff or customers, needs to be tackled head on. Saturation point has been reached in many areas of the retail environment and prices are being driven lower all the time; retail processes are being looked at ever more closely to see where streamlining can be achieved.

Delegates to the free conference can expect to:

    • Be part of the networking event of the year for LP in South Africa
    • Rub shoulders with some of the most influential individuals in the security and retail sector
    • Learn from high calibre speakers and see the latest technology available to fight fraud
    • Participate in closed-door sessions where key figures share information and experiences around the most commercially sensitive topics, to foster debate and promote best practice

    • Gain valuable insights into how to meet your own loss prevention challenges
