Morningside Shopping Centre will switch off all external logo lighting on the building façade as well as encourage all restaurants to operate by candlelight for the hour and Sandton City will switch off its tower cap.

This year the bank is encouraging everyone to take Earth Hour "Beyond the Hour" by making a personal difference in their home, workspace and even their own community after the lights go out.
