The winning mom was Dineo Pheladi Konaite from Attridgeville West in Pretoria. "I always enter these competitions but never think I will win," says Konaite. "The prize has helped me a lot; I bought a pram, food and clothes for my daughter Lesedi."
The receiving school for the makeover was Blessings Crèche. The Huggies marketing team spent a day at Blessings Crèche in October where they repainted the school and made the day special for its 83 children and orphans. The headmistress, Ruth Makwena Semenya, was delighted with the prize her school received. "I am happy for everything that has happened. It will make a big difference in the children's lives and their learning will be more fun. I am so grateful to everyone involved; I don't think any words can describe just how happy I am," said Semenya.
