Numatic sponsors UJ students

The University of Johannesburg's School for Tourism and Hospitality (STH) management received a new year's generous donation of cleaning equipment from Numatic International, amongst the leaders in the hospitality cleaning industry.

The equipment consisted of mopping units and housekeeping and laundry trolleys to the value of R35 000 that will not only benefit the school, but also the students who are creating a future for themselves in the hospitality industry.

At the handover ceremony, which took place on 19 January 2010 at the Bunting Road Campus, Professor Daneel van Lill, director of STH, said, “Not only are we honoured to be aligned with a top international company, but also grateful for the generous sponsorship from the company. Their donation is adding to the development of the students and the hospitality industry.”
