Animax launches integrated marketing campaign
Animax has an integrated marketing campaign, utilising an SMS competition, street-pole ads, lanyards, booklets, posters and branded learner timetables, which will be distributed at both high schools and universities. Additionally, the campaign incorporates on-air advertising, an extensive campus radio campaign and MXit clips.
The campaign is targeted throughout November and December at both high school and university students, promoting two key DStv summer series, Ninja Warrior and Unbeatable Banzuke.
It has established itself as a unique youth and young adult entertainment channel, with programming appealing predominantly to the 16-34 year old demographic. Current first-run series include Ninja Warrior (nightly at 6:15pm to December 17), Unbeatable Banzuke (Monday - Friday at 6:15pm from December 18), Next (weeknights at 19:50) and Takeshi's Castle (weeknights at 8.35pm).
