It's Clarkson... again

NEWSWATCH: Jeremy Clarkson done it again, this time on the subject of babies and aircraft, reports IOL, and we have a couple of YouTube videos, one courtesy The Citizen, for you on close encounters of a different kind - including a demonstration that elephants break windows, and booze and these giants are not a good mix (video).

For more:

  • IOL: Clarkson puts his foot in it, again... Having been on an international flight with a baby nearby I can (sort of) empathise with him on this one. But then I have also been on flights when I reckon a number of the adult passengers would have been better off in the hold - gagged!

Anyway, Clarkson is back in the news because he reckons that babies should be put in the luggage hold on flights.

And just to give you a smile, here are Jeremy Clarkson's 50 best quotes of all time!

  • The Citizen: Elephant attacks tourist car, smashes car window... Here's proof you donta leta an African elephant (Loxodonta Africana) geta too close to you... things tend to get broken.

The people in the car were lucky... and also lucky, but somewhat dof, was the now ex-game-guide who seems to have had a couple and decided - egged on by his apparently equally happy mates, to charge an elephant.

Which just goes to show that booze and dangerous animals are not a good mix. Our intrepid "bull-baiter" was quickly scanning the "Jobs Offered" columns in his local newspaper after this, by the way... To his credit, he was quite contrite after the incident and his dismissal.
