Free exhibition space at next SAMRA conference

Titled 'No Boundaries', the 2006 annual Southern African Marketing Research Association (SAMRA) Convention - which will take place in Gauteng (venue still to be confirmed) - is now open for attendance bookings and the council is calling for paper submissions.

Running from 14-18 March 2006, this convention promises to deliver top quality papers in line with the organisation's resolve to advance a credible, professional and quality Southern African Research industry.

There is an opportunity for anyone involved in the marketing sector to be a part of the exhibition planned to run alongside the conference. The exhibition space is free to all companies - from promotional companies, event organisers, recruitment agencies, consultants and media owners to the marketing industry.

Professor Flemming Hansen, current President of the European Advertising Academy (EAA) and Professor John Philip Jones, of the Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University, New York will be speaking at the conference.

Schalk van Vuuren, Chairperson, SAMRA, says: "In addition to securing top class speakers from the industry both internationally and locally, our intention is to double the number of delegates attending the 2006 convention and to ensure that we secure a broader audience of attendance, especially from Marketing Management.

"This increase of delegates we'd like to see coming from both suppliers and users. We are also hosting an exhibition where we are offering marketers the unique opportunity to showcase their products and services to the market research industry at absolutely no cost to for floorspace,"

To submit a paper for consideration, book seats or exhibit, contact Cathleen at the SAMRA Offices on 083-294-6001 or email
