Ipsos-ASI continues to make high-level appointments to enhance its specialist offerings in South Africa with the recent appointment of Nicole Ndoumbe-Myers as head of Ipsos-ASI for Ipsos South Africa and sub-Saharan region.

Myers relocated from Ipsos' head office in Paris and will be based at the South African head office in Randburg. She will focus on leading the advertising research unit and developing an expert team primarily in South Africa.

She has 17-years' experience in market research in Europe and is supported by a master's degree in Marketing. She started her career in market research in France, followed by a 5-year stint at Ipsos' London offices as senior director. Until December 2009, she was the Ipsos-ASI Europe tracking director with European & global responsibilities for major international clients.

Her appointment follows that of new CEO, Ian Jeffrey and new head of loyalty, Wendy Shepherd.

Commenting on the appointment, Jeffrey said, “Nicole is a very senior and highly experienced executive and I know we are going to greatly benefit from her tenure.”

Ipsos-ASI president for Central Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Tamas Geczi, continues, “Nicole brings with her a depth of knowledge of the company's tools and enormous experience with working with major accounts that is expected to be converted into significant growth of business in the territory.”

Myers commented that her mission is to act as a consultant in brand equity and communication strategy by helping advertisers to build strong brands and ensure a return on advertising investments, by bringing them cutting-edge solutions to measure advertising effectiveness and providing best-in-class servicing for action-orientated recommendations that will make an impact on their business.
