The 'good news' at the SAMRA conference

SAMRA's annual conference will be taking place at the picturesque Spier Wine Estate near Stellenbosch in Cape Town from the 24 to the 25 May 2007. This year's conference will showcase a number of guest speakers, including Steuart Pennington, CEO of South Africa - The Good News (Pty) Ltd.

Pennington is an expert in the field of organisational communication and a published author and management trainer.

He is one of the founders of the South Africa -The Good News Project, which serves to promote good news about South Africa and South Africans around the world. This initiative is vital in disseminating positive information about South Africa both locally and internationally.

The focal point of Pennington's presentation will be the key concerns affecting the future of South Africa. These include international perceptions; the economy; political affairs; social progress, crime and poverty. Pennington examines the achievements made in South Africa and those that still need to occur despite the numerous challenges that need to be overcome. He enthuses that "trusting and believing in our future is essential".
