New IT system to track sales

Fore Good Investments' Harding Group, a leading sales and merchandising company, has completed the development of its sales and information tracking information management system. The system is touted to give Harding's customers a competitive edge in the retail sector.

The system was specifically designed to address the sales and information needs of FMCG manufacturers (principals). It features advanced order processing, reporting and tracking of resources using hand-held and location-based cellular technology which integrates into Harding's centralised information and support infrastructure.

“The development of the system has been a true collaboration with leading intellectual capital from the sector participating in the specification and refinement of the offering. The system has enabled us to improve management productivity and effectiveness while providing real-time pervasive information on critical elements in our supply chain such as delivery vehicle routes, sales people performance and tracking,” says Brad Harding, group managing director at the Harding Group.

The system features intelligent real-time reporting, forecasting and alerts including sales and order reports on channel and regional performance, route lists, trend comparisons, sales management and rep analysis, admin reports on overall productivity and financial reports on budgets and vehicle tracking to name but a few. Managers and principals can access the system and run these various reports anywhere and at any time, gaining insights into what is happening at a store level on a real-time daily basis.
