View instore display solutions online

Barrows has introduced an online collection of instore display solutions which have been vigorously value-engineered both in terms of materials usage and production efficiency.

In essence this range of display items represents those units which have become commoditised in the market place and hence should be made available to clients at the best market price. With over a decade of design and production experience, Barrows has innovated significantly on this range of display items. These include all the 'flats' such as posters, leaflets and base wrap, to items which require a degree of finishing such as wobblers and washline banners, through to structural elements such as standees, dump bins and freestanding units (FSUs).

The only category within this range that is somewhat controversial from a commodity labelling perspective is FSUs. To this end Barrows has included units which are relatively standard in their structure and where differentiation can only be achieved through the creative application of artwork and shapely die-lines.

Clients can opt to customise their FSUs through a graphic design approach and still gain savings by selecting a standard configuration.

Barrows have also created a 3D plug-in which allows creative agencies to generate 3D renders from flat artwork panels, thus enabling them to drive the graphic design process with their clients without any intervention from Barrows.

"For a more bespoke solution our clients are encouraged to work with our creative team to design a unit or campaign perfectly suited to their brand architecture" says MD Lucien d'Avice. To this end Barrows run there Creative Design studio as a separate entity to Value Display and engage clients through a robust design methodology that extracts the objectives of the brief and translates them into a highly customised display solution.

According to Barrows, Value Display offers significant cost efficiencies which includes avoiding design fees, considerable flexibility as well as a faster turnaround, and draws from the company's experience of POS best practices.
