Designed specifically for portable navigation devices (PNDs), the chargers ensure that the PND always receives the right amount of power under all circumstances.
Daan Hendrickx, country manager for South Africa says, "It's the first TomTom accessory that enables users to charge their PND and other mobile devices, such as their phone or portable DVD player, at the same time and faster."
As well as a 1.2 amp USB charging port for mobile phones or MP3 players, there's a 2.1 amp port to speed-charge high power USB devices such as an iPad or iPhone. This charges up to four times faster, without impacting the other port's charging capability. Plus there's a dedicated port for powering 12V in-car devices like DVD players.
The new Multi-Charger is available from retailers' countrywide at a recommended retail price of R247.05.
