Woolworths magazine goes online

The Woolworths Taste magazine has launched an interactive website to present food in an inspirational but non-intimidating way, highlighting the variety of the stores' offerings and the abundance of the South African food industry.

All tried and tested by the editorial team, the website has more than 1000 recipes including the combined culinary creations of the Taste food editor Abigail Donnelly and author of numerous books, Phillippa Cheifitz.

“The site facilitates a key feature that allows users to start searching for their favourite recipes - categorised according to course. More importantly, once they have found the recipes they would like to keep, users can save them in their own, innovative online recipe book. From here they can send them to an occasion planner and create a printable shopping list,” says Donnelly. In addition, if a recipe calls for an ingredient that users have never heard of or simply cannot find, she says they can email the team who will gladly assist.
