Grinding frozen foods - chop, chop

USA - Koch Equipment LLC has announced the introduction of a new MADO frozen meat grinder for the meat and poultry industries that grinds fresh and frozen product at high levels of efficiency with minimal temperature rise, which reduces bacteria and contaminants.

Steve Kingeter, vice president of sales and marketing, commented, "With production capacities up to 10,000 kilograms per hour for frozen product (based on a 6mm plate) and 36,000 kilograms per hour (based on a 13mm plate) for fresh product, this frozen meat grinder is designed for heavy-duty production and rates first-class when it comes to high-quality product."

He continued, "In addition to handling enormous production volumes, frozen blocks can be processed at temperatures as low as -13 degrees Fahrenheit [-25 degrees Celsius]."

The new frozen meat grinder will be on display 24-27 October in Koch Equipment's exhibit at the Worldwide Food Expo in Chicago, Illinois.

Established in 1883, Koch Equipment LLC is a full line manufacturer and distributor of equipment for meat production, food processing, packaging, and labeling.
