Samsung's Cape Town branch officially opened in Canal Walk Shopping Centre on 19 November 2009, with the official store opening of the Johannesburg store in the Fourways Crossing Shopping Centre taking place on the 3 December. The Fourways branch is already open to the public.

Samsung has partnered with Audio Vision in Cape Town and Digital Experience in Johanneburg, specialists in the distribution and sales of premium products - to bring consumers a world of innovation. Following international design, all Samsung products are available under one roof, from the latest models of mobile devices, audio solutions, LED and LCD TVs, to IT products, home appliances and air conditioning. The store will also house Samsung's “green” product offerings from the Eco Life Collection.

Samsung has plans to open further brand stores throughout South Africa in 2010, which include two more outlets in Gauteng and one in the Gateway Shopping Centre, Durban, as well as branches in the Indian Ocean Region.
