'Just B' goes Legit

This collaboration marks a first for the SABC 1 Live presenter and a third for Legit with the first celebrity range launched in collaboration with Noni Gasa, followed by Precious Kofi with a “sista girl” range.

Legit's clothing and accessories range is aimed young, fashion-conscious women aged between 16 and 24. The stores have added the new merchandise to its clothing line as part of its commitment to bring unique trends to their customers.

“Legit has built its brand around young and positive role models who match the personality of Bonang's clothing range: vibrant, sassy and young at heart,” says Glenda Mthimkhulu, Buying Executive, Adult Softlines.

She said the new range also injects a bit of ‘glam' into the stores.

The range, aptly called ‘Just B' is a complete clothing line with a special focus on Matric Dance dresses and outfits for the after-party. The range offers everything from knit tops to denim jumpsuits to sequins and ‘bling'. Items include frilled shirts and tops; satin trimmed glam tops; cropped jackets; cheeky shorts and rah-rah skirts. The range will roll out over the next six months, with new items in store regularly.

“I'm over the moon launching my own fashion range with a fashion house of such a high caliber as Legit,” says Matheba. “I remember how stressful planning for my Matric Dance was and this range will lighten the load for parents and scholars - and really, anyone looking for a bit of glamour for any occasion and any age.”

The range is easy to spot in stores by its trademark glitter ball. “The glitter ball is so me,” enthuses Matheba. “It's shiny and stands out in a crowd, especially in the dark. I understand the value of keeping a healthy and positive outlook in everything I do - and this range is just an extension of that.”

The ‘Just B' assortment will be available in all Legit stores nationwide.

In addition Matheba is making special appearances in Legit stores across the country where she will be signing autographs, wearing her range, and interacting with customers about the clothes. Any of the first 30 customers spending R100 or more on any items the day of the road-show get a free Bonang t-shirt.
