Tailor-made in Cape Town

Trendsetter Paul van der Spuy, winner of multiple fashion awards and the creator of the legendary Frank B. Ernest and Wylde Oscar clothing stores, has now launched bluecollarwhitecollar, a bespoke shirt shop in Cape Town.

Purveyors of men's and women's individually tailored shirts, bluecollarwhitecollar will, as with all Paul's previous stores, stand alone in design and innovation, with each shirt exquisitely constructed and with unique and subtle details that typically set the product apart. Says Paul, "bluecollarwhitecollar has little to do with fashion and trends but is rather an individual expression of what I feel as I look to the past at beautifully constructed items and apply that inspiration to today's modern looks.”

Sales expert Adrian Heneke, Paul van der Spuy's business partner in this venture, joins the team as the operations and sales director. Heneke was formerly the general manager of Paul's Wylde Oscar stores and the sales manager at International Trimmings and Labels (SA Bias Group) for the past six years. He says, “Paul and I realised that there was a gap in the market for superb casual and corporate shirting at an affordable price. With no two shirts alike, customers are confident that their prized ‘bluecollarwhitecollar' items have been tailored to perfection and when requested, to their exact specifications.”

bluecollarwhitecollar is situated at Shop G21 in the Lifestyle on Kloof Centre on Kloof Street in Cape Town. Trading hours are Mondays to Fridays from 9am - 6pm and Saturdays from 9am - 3.30pm.
