FCB Jonssons opens in Cape Town

Following its recent merger with Cape Town-based FCB Investor Connexion, FCB Jonssons has enhanced its investor communications capabilities in Johannesburg and opened an office in Cape Town.

Claire Ingle, previously group marketing manager for Appleton Securities, will head the Cape Town office, which will mirror the services offered by FCB Jonssons in Johannesburg. She has a legal background and is well known within the financial services institutions in the Mother City.

In Johannesburg, investor communications will be the responsibility of Stephanie Leclercq, who has worked as an analyst at Standard Corporate Merchant Bank and as investor relations manager for AST.

In line with its expansion, FCB Jonssons has also unveiled a new corporate identity designed by sister company, FCB Design.

Welcoming Leclercq and Ingle to FCB Jonssons, managing director Lance Wayne said Leclercq's work experiences have given her very real grasp of what true investor relations is, and the benefits clients can derive from it. He also believes Ingle is well qualified to add value to the agency's corporate clients when it comes to both financial public relations and marketing services.

"Previously primarily a financial advertising ad agency, FCB Jonssons now has considerable investor relations experience in its fold and will focus on corporate and investor communications going forward," he said. "I am sure both Stephanie and Claire will enjoy being a part of FCB South Africa – the country's largest marketing services group – and I have no doubt they'll be making an impact on our business, and our client's reputations, within a short space of time."
