Simba launches high value competition

Wednesday, 1 February 2012, saw the launch of the Great Simba House Hunt Campaign that will see three South Africans each win a house valued at R1 million and 657 700 product fans will win instant airtime prizes valued between R5 and R500 each, totalling R5.5 million worth of airtime.

The Simba House Hunt tokens are among the specially marked Great Simba House Hunt packs in the competition, which runs until 30 April 2012. The first winner will be announced in mid-March, the second in mid-April and the third in mid-May. The company will attempt to ensure that the house prize is situated close to where the winner resides, in one of the following areas - Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit, Kimberly, Polokwane and Mafikeng.

"We wanted to show consumers that we appreciate their love of the brand by coming up with an exciting, life-changing competition. It's not often that consumers stand a chance to win a house worth a million Rand, let alone three houses," says Rita Fernandes, acting marketing manager.
