To promote the launch, Coca Cola is hosting various Shay'iround events, where crowds will have a chance to show off their dance moves to win cool prizes. This includes the opportunity to audition to be the face of the for the new My Size 330ml billboard in their town and learn some new rad moves that they can do with their My Size 330ml bottle. These events will take place across the country between August and October 2014.
The My Size pack is available in Coca-Cola, Fanta Orange, Sprite and Stoney and priced at an equally pocket-sized price at R5.00 a bottle (recommended retail price).
The Shay'iround moment originally involved friends walking from door to door gathering the crew to chill, or even summoning friends with a whistle. Nowadays they are instigated using costly BBM, WhatsApp, Mxit and Facebook.
Always looking to delight, Coca-Cola South Africa has created an iPad app that allows consumers to invite their friends to "Shay'iround Bazobona with the new My Size" - in the way that's most natural to them, minus the airtime bills.
